I have mine set up to do that. New wallpapers every 60 seconds.

EDIT: I did have to make them smaller to cut out any lag the larger images would create. So while I keep them at 1200 PPI, the resolution dropped to 1080x1920.

Oh, and JPG format. GIF, PNG & TIFF cause lag.
