Considering the absolute state of modern comics, trying to push agendas and crap. I’m not surprised. Manga has left western comics in the dust, but it was their own fault for their own undoing. No one is buying comics these days, or very few are. When you alienate you core audience to pander to “other” groups who most times have no interest in buying your products but demand you change.
Stuff like this is what pushed many comic fans away from modern comics and they seek refuge in other media instead, that’s why manga sales are booming!
Diamond Comics Distribution just got caught in the crosshairs as they basically have a monopoly on the comic distribution market to most comic shops.
