I just got a Kindle for x-mas and I’m wondering where I can get free manga.
comiXology and Kindle store doesn’t really save you any money, better off getting print versions for the same price and I can’t really afford $6 a month for Amazon unlimited. My fun stuff $$ is all tied into the otaku box
Errr Im seeing something called Libby? never heard of it but apparently it works with kindle and has manga
Not sure on the free manga part but nice on getting the kindle although for manga and light novels i like to have the hard copy lol. I use to have a tablet for barnes and noble but really like the feeling of the book in my hand. Humm still not sure on the free manga part.
I prefer hard copies as well. I can read for free on zoro.to but it doesn’t work if I am somewhere without wi-fi. I guess I need to go on a pdf hunt. Hard copies are worth the extra .30 cents to $2.00, it’s not much of a saving going paperless.
Yeah no doubt to that. Not sure where you can find those though. I will keep an eye out for ya.
I’ll keep an eye out for free manga. If you want free books, there are a ton on manybooks.net. You can break down the search results by genre. Haven’t checked it for manga ever, so no idea if they have it or not.
Interested as well. I found a few light novels on the not-so-legitimate sites, but want the mangas.
My tips for this thread:
- I have Bleach mangas on my hard drive as PDFs. Go to cloudconvert.org to change file formats (in this case ePub).
- Look into your device’s settings. In my Amazon settings, I found my Kindle has an e-mail address I could send the e-Books to and a few minutes later show up on the device. Still need to look into the larger files.
Haven’t done the digging yet, but I do need to look into protecting the appropriate files so that I don’t find my nine year old reading DxD or Redo of Healer…
I click and it tells me link can not be reached
my bad. it was a dot org, not dot net.
Thank you so much for the tip SquallMano!
