Ah, Yoko Ono. The OG nepo artist. Girlie can’t sing at all or do some art, but somehow got her own exhibition where she does nothing but scream.
I’m mainly a Metal Guy as I love listening to metal mostly. I don’t get into specifics as when it comes to sub-genres of metal, but if had to pick some it would be, Industrial and Thrash were my favorites, with some Progressive and Death mixed it. But I pretty much listen to something from all sub-genres of metal. But I also listen to other stuff as well as I have my fair share of Grunge and Alternative bands I love, and even classics and oldies from the 70’s and 80’s. I’m not really big into pop music though I do enjoy my girl Brittany, lol. As for techno, I love Daft Punk (though their last album wasn’t that good in my opinion and I felt it strayed too far from their original sound with too much singing and lyrics, even if “Get Lucky” was a hit). I can appreciate most music overall.
My music choices are all over the place from what I got from my parents (Mom 64, Dad 74) and as a 90s child I got from what i grew up with. Now Metallica, Megadeth, and Dio have always been a favorite of mine since i was a kid.
Idk what song or what not to post, so for now here’s my YouTube Playlist that’s ever growing.
If I come upon something worth sharing I’ll post it.
Damn, wish they had a New Mexico stop so I can take my brother.
I was lucky enough to see Megadeth live back in 2021, And Dave still has it!
Never been a big fan of Metallica, though I do like all their albums up to the black album, after that they started sucking hard, and I still refuse to support them after the Napster incident in the early 2000’s.
I only know a few of Dio’s songs, mainly “Rainbow in the Dark” and “Holy Diver”, I like what I heard but I barely know the artists to be honest.
As for the concert tour of Coal Chamber it will be my first time seeing them, but I have seen Fear Factory before. Coal Chamber is the only other concert I got planned for next year, ahead of the Primus, A Perfect Circle, & Puscifer tour in May I’m attending. At least so far. There really hasn’t been much announced yet, but 2025 hasn’t even started yet and more announcements are to come I’m sure.
I was raised listening to all kinds of music from before my time, oldies 50s/60s because of my mom, and 80’s because of my sister. Grew up in the 90s but still mostly partial to the 80s.
I also love the rock from the early 2000s such as Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, and Three Days Grace. I also really got into the classic rock from my lost decade of the 70s.
Been trying to stay up to date with newer rock bands but I’ve been having a hard time, after the mid 2010s, finding good bands. I do like Royal Blood, Highly Suspect, and Nothing but Thieves, but after their first couple albums the rock seems to go away.
Lucky! Been trying to win tickets from a radio station in Albuquerque for tickets to see Megadeth.
The hand held wire tap must of been looking at what I type because yesterday a add to get tickets for Primus popped up, but i think when i get paid at the end of the month im gonna buy tickets to go see them in Albuquerque.
Coal Chamber is something my brother (childhood friend since '97) and I grew up listening to them and I want to do something nice for him since he’s been my friend for so long and for trying to help me get through the death of my gf.
I honestly stopped listening to Metallica after St. Anger, but i still listen to their old stuff. Mostly Master of Puppets (album not just the song) and Ride the Lightning.
It’s just not his band Dio, but the other bands he’s fronted like Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and Heaven & Hell. Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules are my favorite Dio Sabbath albums.
Really digging it, more anime need to venture into more of a metal aesthetic for their music in the intros.
Love the album version of this song and absolutely love the guitar solo (always wanted to make it my ring tone), but something about this live version is just
One of my favorites lol. I’m a huge metal, hard rock, and alternative fan. Specially the late 90s to 2010s.
I was under the impression that the chorus was wrapped up like a deuce into a rumor in the night. He sounds a little different here
Fav band of mine are Disturbed, System of a Down and Avenged Sevenfold
Yeah i love singing, “wrapped up like a dousche”, but it is “revved up like a deuce”(as in a deuce coupe), “another runner in the night.”
