So once again I have issues with how our boxes are sent, for the past 5 months I have never received a confirmation email saying that the box has been shipped or a tracking number, I never received my October box, never received an email saying it was shipped. I sent support an email requesting a replacement box be sent overnight so we’ll see how that goes.
Liz, you need to rethink your shipping company and really look at stopping getting stuff from China considering China and the US are about to start another trade war, if I was you I would look at sourcing all your items from Japan and using a Japanese shipping company. I’m at this point of cancelling my subscription because of the lack of using real shipping companies like DHL, UPS.

'Zon logistics strikes again! It was due today.
Oh, and the wrapping paper and sticky labels I ordered alongside the bows that were out for delivery and due between 11 and 2 are now due by 9PM.

Well, my wrapping paper showed up – not in rolls of paper like the picture showed on the 'Zon, but several 17"x 17" squares folded up. Creases everywhere, and not one piece large enough to wrap some of my larger boxes.
Went looking for large rolls of paper and the 'Zon vendors slammed us with high dollar prices.
Gonna hafta go to Wally World this week 'cause the 'Zon is trying to rip us off.
Added a new logo for them.

Never buy wrapping paper from the 'Zon! Get it at Dollar Tree or Walmart like the rest of us peons for a fraction of the cost!
Speaking of, I have like 12 gifts I have to wrap tomorrow for my 4chan secret santa gift exchange so I can hopefully get it mailed off soon. I over did it again this year…

I get you. I had excruciating back pain that lasted around 3 weeks. Sitting for prolonged periods of time just made it worse and it was very difficult to move around. Physiotherapy and swimming helped immensely.

Well my Thanksgiving plans were almost crushed. Requested Thanksgiving off work since it is my favorite holiday (Fat boy at heart), because I would normally have to work as is the case with my line of work (Must work Holidays and Weekends unless you use approved PTO or the holiday falls on your normal day off). I missed Thanksgiving last year due to catching Covid right before the holiday, and I didn’t want to miss it again!
Well I was planning on going to my folks place for Thanksgiving, to spend time with the family. But both my Mom and Dad caught a cold (or at least they hope it’s a cold) when my Dad got sick after going to the VA for his flu shot, then gave the virus to my mom. They were fine yesterday with just a slight sore thoat and cough, but it got worse today where my mom can barely talk and body aches. Everyone had to cancel. I hope they get to feeling better and it don’t get worse!
Anyway I didn’t buy a turkey or ham due to freezer space limitations and also planning on going to my folks anyway. Thought I would be missing out on Thanksgiving again for the second time in a row! I was really looking forward to it to! Though I understand why my folks had to cancel, and I don’t blame them for canceling either, and wish them well and hope they get better soon!
Luckily I got an invite from a friend today out of the blue to come over for Thanksgiving dinner tonight! I’ve spent Thanksgiving with him and his room mate before and He is an excellent cook! So all is well that ends well! I’m Thankful to have good friends who send out invites like that.
So anyway, Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! And if you’re not from the USA Happy Thursday I guess, lol!

Okay, here we go…
I have hip dysplasia so I can’t get hired anywhere. I haven’t been in a real romantic relationship since June 2012. Every relationship I have been in I was cheated on and left because for some reason woman care more about a man’s income than his heart. I tried to crawl out from under my rock just to get lead on and lied to. I tried Facebook dating and only 2 real woman matched with me who were actually local. Neither one of them wanted a relationship after they learned that I can’t work so, now I am back under my rock. I never been married or had any kids so now I am just a 42 year old hermit living alone with a cat. Now I am stuck without a vehicle because I took it to the dealership for a free recall repair and they told me they legally can’t let me drive it because the frame is rusted out under the driver seat, meaning if I did a good ramp over the train tracks it would snap.

So my thread with my grievances was “hidden” by a mod, oh well. Guess I really struck a nerve so they censored the thread by hiding it… just leaving it like that as I’m not gonna mention it anymore on here. feels bad man.
for those that know what I’m taking about and were following the thread, Liz did contact me in email, I’ve yet to respond as I’m not sure what to respond with yet.
That’s the end of what I’m gonna say about it. Gonna be busy working on other projects today.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate you taking a stand and voicing your frustrations. I believe you made a solid argument and seeing that the thread is now hidden, I think that shows you were definitely exposing something disingenuous. You’ve given me plenty to consider going forward with TOB. Thank you for expressing your honesty.

I’ve decided to stay subscribed to The Otaku Box for now, at least until June which will be my 5 year mark as a subscriber and I’ll decide what I want to do by then. Liz did contact me via email. Not sure what’s gonna happen but the solution she emailed me was not something I was keen on doing, so I opted out in my response as it wasn’t a solution for my issue at hand. Not gonna go into details of what it was. If they decide to send me the figure, I’ll review it, if not…oh well, it is what it is.
After sleeping on it and some thought, I come to realize the whole incident was a nothing more but a bad marketing campaign that sounded good on paper but had poor execution and forethought with the aftermath. And after all the marketing put into it, it would be rather costly to fix the mistake, that’s why TOB isn’t backing down and or changing the promo. But either way I do think they learned something from this whole incident, well at least I hope they did. Time will tell.
This is the last I’m speaking about this on the forum. I’m not gonna answer anymore question regarding this going forward and dropping it here.

I’m sooo pissed off at Ali Express. I did a Pre-order for Bell-Cranel( Good Smile Pop up-Parade) I paid $54.80 for it. Wait over a month for it to ship, and today with no explanation they close the order and canceled it. I check the figure again and it go up to 61.85. It’s not fair I ordered a month ago cheaper and now they up the prices and expect me to get it pricey. I spoke with the “store” and they said they “delivered the goods” and Ali Express cancelled it. Here’s hoping I get my refund back.
