Welcome to the community! My top anime recommendation would be Death Note as always, because the plot is insane and the anime isn’t that long to watch (one season, or the shortened movies). But it’s kind of old, so the new ones I watch and really enjoy are

Solo Leveling
and Gushing over Magical Girls is also a funny ecchi one. If you haven’t seen those, maybe it’s worth giving a glance

welcome snip5521 to the community some anime i’d recommend that i found are hyakka ryouran samurai girls for a more ecchi anime and utawarerumono is one i’ll always recommend it has a great story and great characters and if you can find them the video games which are the source material for the anime for a good visual novel game with some srpg battles mixed in

Welcome to the community @snip5521 , first of all when it comes to new anime the first question I have is what kind of anime do you enjoy? I could easily rattle off a long list just like @MageHeart , but with me knowing next to nothing about what kind of anime you have watched or enjoy watching that List could be easily hit or miss for you. For example, many people absolutely love Naruto, but there others; like myself; who just can’t get into it.

So do you enjoy Ecchi?, Shonen?, Isekai?, Action?, Comedy?, Horror?, Romance?, Fantasy? SciFi?. What shows have you already watched that you enjoyed?

Welcome @snip5521 . The good thing about anime is there’s something for everybody. If you like cooking (Shokugeki no Soma, Toriko), Isekai( SAO, Danmachi, Konosuba) misteries(Apothecary Diaries), Sports( Haikyuu, Initial D), Romance (Toradora, Your Lie in April), and ect ect ect

Welcome to the forum, snip5521. I see you’re a fan of Death Note. I think you’ll enjoy Psycho Pass. It’s a smart, dark, dystopian psychological thriller. This was my gateway anime that got me hooked.
