Greetings and salutations everyone. I am Feniris, but you can call me Fen. Just found this happy little corner of the internet, and decided to check and see how this goes. I’ve been an anime fan since the 90’s with my first taste being fan subs of Mellowlink and Bastard! I then joined my college anime club and learned about Neon Genesis Evangelion and my world has never been the same since. At the moment I am watching Blue Box and Dandadan on Netflix, but I’m always looking for a reason to dust off the old Crunchyroll and dig into new stuff. My all time favorites include RahXephon, and Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon. In the sub vs dub debate, I will flip flop depending on how much I care about the art style, vs authenticity. I feel dubs have come a long way from the 90’s so the difference isn’t as much as it was back in the day.

Welcome to the forums Fen! I can totally understand the filp floping between dub and sub. I can only watch the dub of stuff like Gundam Wing and G Gundam or things like Yu Yu Hakusho and DragonBall Z because they were all formative anime for me. Everything modern I watch subs because i got pretty good at reading the subs and the action.
