The new vote is now up I seen.
My question is what everyone thinks about question 6.
What do you guys think? I’m down for larger figures as I rarely use the stuff that comes in most the boxes anyway. This may also increase that chance of me hopefully getting a Rachnera figure in the box.
My main concern with this is for the people who subscribe but do not get the figure add-on with their box will be getting less loot for the same $30 subscription. They already lost the mini figure in the box as the metal cards replaced them, yet people with the scale figure upgrade also get the metal cards. The scale figure used to replace the mini figure in the box as it was an upgrade. Now people with the scale figure upgrade get more loot then basic subscribers.
I get both an upgraded and non upgraded box since I have two subscriptions (so i can get both the ecchi and non-ecchi loot).
Losing another item in the box in favor of bigger figures make the basic subscriber without add-ons lose out on even more while still paying the same price, just doesn’t seem fair to people who can only afford the basic options. I’m just curious how Liz will address this concern if this idea gets traction and moves forward.
You can’t just give an extra item to the basic box as a solution either as the figure is a $20 add-on to the basic box.
If the basic box keeps losing items it could lead to more people who can only afford a basic box to just unsubscribe altogether and cost TOB business.
I personally think a better option would be a slight increase in figure price once again for the bigger figures instead of taking away features from the basic box, while lowering the price of the basic box without add-ons since there will be one less item in the box. That should increase funds for a larger figure while not diminishing the value for those who don’t pay for the scale figure upgrade. So in a nutshell the box will have one less item, the people with scale figure add-ons will keep paying the same current price as the lost item will add my funds to the scale figure for better figures, while the people without the figure upgrade will pay less for their box. Either that or keep the boxes the same with no items lost and just increase the price of the scale figure slightly instead.
Of course this is all speculation on my part as I really do not know how this will all work out if the vote goes through for bigger figure at the lost of one item in the box. I don’t work for TOB and I’m just a subscriber like everyone else, as it doesn’t effect me much as I have two subscriptions to get all the loot (minus the shirt as I no longer want it, as i never wear them anyway, i prefer shirts of Metal Music artists I like as that’s more my style)
Just curious on everyone elses take on this or if the Admin team can fill us in on a bit more. These are just my own thoughts on the issue.
Would you like me to make better and larger figures but add less items to the box? Liz
I say yes cause I’m ok with it but its more of a maybe as there could be a price increase
I said dont change a thing because of a possible price increase went across my mind and i just recently add the shirt (again) because i was able to afford it but if people say yes and their is a price increase the only ones who should be complaining should be the ones who said no.
Im also concerned if it goes through and people say they cant afford the upgraded figures then im gonna be “why did you vote yes for it to begin with if you couldnt afford a price increase” you know.
I think this is a huge can of worms becuase people want better figures but they dont want to pay extra, and the ones that vote no because of a possible price increase feel a minority.
It all varies im sure everyone including myself thought about the increase but also comes down to quality
I’m not voting since I’m not suscribed anymore🤷🏽♀️
