for Christmas Dinner tonight I just went to Perkins Restaurant and got meals to go (they were open until 5pm) waiting on my roommate to get off so we can reheat the meal and eat, she works today til 6pm at Walgreens.

Yep. both Perkins Resturant and Walgreens were open today, and yes…they were BUSY AF. I had to wait 45 minutes for my to go order, but people were coming in to eat in large family groups on Christmas Day.
Usually I either have to work myself on Christmas Day at the casino, or if I was off I would go to my folks for dinner. But since my folks were going up north to see my brother this year, I didn’t wanna drive all the way up to Wichita to go with them to my brothers so I stayed home this year. Since my Roommate worked and I’ve been feeling like ick for over a week now, I felt it was for the best to stay home. beside my Nephew just had a new baby a few weeks ago with his GF, and I wouldn’t wanna pass out any illness I my still have to the baby on accident.
We decided we was gonna eat at Perkins this year since they are usually open on holidays (the only place open on holidays in my city to eat at), but since they closed earlier then normal and before my roommate got off work, I decided to get meals to go and we would just reheat them when she gets off work. I’m gonna go pick up up real soon when she gives me the call.

We did go see my folks yesterday for Christmas Eve though, and had our traditional Christmas Eve Pizza, then did gift exchange afterwards.

Well I knew Perkins was use to do as well when the family didnt wanna cook lol but Walgreens really give people some time off lol

For Christmas dinner we had Turkey, spiral ham that was bathed in cherry Dr. Pepper, homemade mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce, and stuffing. For desert we had 4 different kinds of pies, pecan, pumpkin, keylime, and chocolate meringue.
I definitely ate too much I feel like how the characters in Metal Slug look when they over eat.
