I was of holding off on getting a Switch 1bc I knew number two was around the corner (been waiting over a year - maybe 1.5+).
But after this announcement - maybe I’ll just hold off on Nintendo in general…

To be fair, a vast majority of the backgrounds were pre-rendered in Resident Evil 1, so the only polygons on screen was the characters and items.
