  3. Check their volunteer perks. They might have crash space or even pay you (usually two weeks afterward).

MAGFest and Katsucon are really big ones coming up in the DC area. @MageHeart is one of my minions on Video Programming for the latter. @somwhere is in the area.

Hotels in the immediate vicinity sell out within 30 minutes of the blocks opening up.

As long as my son’s not around, I might have some lodgings for stuff in the area (nothing against you guys. It’s custody visitation rules).
