I lived there back in the late 90’s while in Highschool. My dad was military (I’m an Army Brat) and was stationed in Fort Hood but didn’t like living in big cities so we bought a place in Lampasas for 4 years. Go Badgers!

Oh, it gets better. Our Junior High’s mascot? The Fiddler Crabs. Our district also included The El Campo Rice Birds and the Robstown Cottonpickers.

My middle school mascot was the Indians, I was the only Native American at my school 
, highschool was the panthers.

I taught at a high school that was the Indians back in the 90s. Every year, the nearby Alabama-Cushatta Reservation would come by and ask for it to be changed. Every year the district said no.

Yeah this was Louisiana, my family frequently requested that it was changed but they never would, they are still the Indians to this day.

Okay, this is going out to all my artsy-crafsty, cosplay, hivemind friends.
Need an idea here.
I want to recreate the foam in the top of a stein (a proper head on a stein of beer!) that looks like actual beer foam. Other than cotton, are there any other materials that would simulate it adequately?
