You can call me Pokemonfan25. I came across this forum from Liz w/ Waifu Monthly. I don’t remember when I first came across manga/anime but I remember watching the 1st ever Pokémon episode on TV as a kid.
The only anime that I’m currently watching is Dragon Ball Daima since I just finished Arcane and Delicious in Dungeon. I’m also a Marvel and DC fan as well. I play video games sometimes (PlayStation and Nintendo) and attend local cons as well. I’m glad to have joined this space and look forward to connecting with everyone here.
Welcome! Watched the first episode of Daima and haven’t touched it since, just waiting for the episodes to pile up as they come out so i don’t watch one then have to wait.
I too remember the first episode debuting for Pokémon and also the first episode of DBZ on Toonami.
I just got back into watching anime last year and so far I have shows I like that when i found out they weren’t going to continue made me sad (stares at Darling in the Franxx).
Video games are another way to escape (es-cop-aye) from reality, but the only difference is I’m a die hard Xbox fan. I haven’t touched a PlayStation since the PS2, but I do also play on Switch. The only new online game I have is South Park Snow Day; most of the time I’m reliving my childhood playing the old games I grew up with.
Don’t know if you’re looking for show recommendations but here are some of mine.
Thanks @B-Zenhower! I’m glad that there are other anime fans and gamers in this forum also. I do play on Xbox as well but it isn’t one of main consoles.
I have been an anime fan on and off for years. Surprisingly, I have heard of almost every anime on this list but just haven’t watched them. Although I love Sony, I’m not a fan of Crunchyroll. I watch anime on other streaming platforms.
I visited the Sentai Filmworks Store website over the weekend (Black Friday sale) and brought some physical blu-rays. There were 2 series (I don’t remember the names at the moment), but they were heavily discounted complete sets. The regular price was $59.98 and they were on sale for $1.99.
