He still looks spectacular to me We can only dream
To be honest, I barely see any difference from his Aquaman days. He just not flexing his abs.
Yoichi Yukimura is definitely a fan favorite. He has some of the most art and his route in the game is one of the most emotional.
Yoichi is my second favorite of the available route options. He is the muscle bound tsundere of the group. The dog lover, and probably the least intelligent. Though he is one of the most caring, if also one of the most socially awkward.
Ok, I’m definitely bi at this point, especially if they have wolf aesthetics. I guess I just so LOOOOVE the wolf look, that’s why he’s my favorite.
Which reminds me, I also love Wriothelys from Genshin. At first I only pulled him because of his voice actor (Joe Zeija, who voiced Claude from Fire Emblem: Three Houses). But when I played him, I realized I loved him too. His gameplay is simple yet fun (and I can’t stop staring at his butt.)
There are 5 different characters to romance in total in the first Camp Buddy game. The next one to advertise is Hunter Springfield. He is the bookworm of the group, generally the calmest and most rational. He is my middle pick for all things.
Speaking of, each character has their own theme. Hunter is the spring bunny, Natsumi is summer beetle, Hiro is autumn raccoon, Yoichi is the winter wolf, and Taiga is the red tiger. So, the original 4 characters are themed around the seasons.
Each theme song has two or three versions (all have a slow, but I don’t think all have a fast version), but just to share the basic character themes. They also released a new game theme song mixed with the character themes that I really enjoy.
Ok, done with the geeking out for the moment… This is just probably my favorite of all the BL games I’ve played. Very well done, good artwork, good music, amazing writing, good animation, etc.
Oh my God! Winter is actually my favorite season too. I guess I’m really meant to play that game, then. If only I don’t have an attention span of a beetle, though.
Things would have been different if I was still a teenager. I love RPG and VN back then. But now, whenever I have free time, I’d rather sleep. Sucks to be an adult
And for the last of the Camp Buddy boys, my personal favorite Taiga Akatora. He is the hot headed antagonist on most of the routes, but once you play his you get his backstory. You also realize that he isn’t as bad originally portrayed. Taiga’s route also has the most unique story, since he isn’t being the antagonist, but is being romanced.
I definitely understand. I sometimes sacrifice sleep to get in some gaming, but I often sacrifice gaming time to get the extra sleep. I wish I was still in bed now, but work starts early for me anymore.
Just wondering, though, do we get the adult form in the story? The official looks like they’re just teenagers
Life was so good until we realized we have to work lol. This is why sometimes I wish I wasn’t born. but then, how could I see my husbandos and waifus if I don’t exist? So thank, God, I was born! But now I’m suffering, so I wish I wasn’t, but husbandos, but suffering, but waifus, but--
Yeah, they do look like teenagers in the game. Though the scenes are better drawn. The sprites aren’t bad they just look younger with the sprites.
Most of what I shared was more along the lines of fanart. Which, I generally find to be improvements on the official art for the game. Now, I do greatly enjoy the artwork of the developers, but the fanart does sometimes improve on it.
Scoutmaster’s season, the sequel to camp buddy, is focused on the three scoutmasters. Yoshinori is the main character, and he can romance either Aiden (my favorite) or Goro.
Yup. I love their adult forms too. Kinda weird to have crush on a teenager (and I’m nearing 30s) even if they’re just 2D characters.
I just googled the Scoutmasters, and oh boy, that white-haired man is a freaking zaddy. God, don’t make me question my sexuality even further. I’m an insecured man xD
Then i probably shouldn’t mention the third game they are now working on, which is with college jocks… Jock Studio is the latest I’m waiting to be released so i can play that.
Though, if you are interested, Steam has a free demo for Scoutmaster’s Season and Jock Studio.
Ain’t that the GD truth!!!
I absolutely love playing Pathfinder, but it’s held on Friday and that’s one of my dialysis days so I’m absolutely drained to the point I dont want to do nothing, but sleep.
