Tapestry printing error?

I finally took some time to check out a few episodes of Tokyo Ghoul and that lead me to think there is, in fact, an error in the August reward box’s tapestry.

Here’s a photograph of the tapestry as received, featuring the character Touka Kirishima:

Doesn’t that look vertically streteched?

If I resize that photograph to have a square aspect ratio, Touka-san looks a lot more … well … normal!

I think that looks better, but maybe that’s just me? Or if it isn’t, maybe I just got a weirdly sized tapestry?

You are entirely right. Mine is still in the box but when I rolled it out it does look strange.

You’re right, I mentioned that in my review on Instagram on the 9th as well. I like tall skinny girls but that was ridiculous, lol. Glad I wasn’t the only one.

It happened on both versions, the ecchi and non-ecchi version of the printed wall scroll.

Yeah, noticed the same thing. It’s a shame too, since I was really looking forward to the Touka scroll.

Oh great. Good thing I don’t actually hang these up, because I’m not exactly looking forward to getting this now.
