It was legit fun and cool as hell to watch in the 80’s and 90’s as nothing had ever been made like it…except maybe “Wizards”, but the thing was Heavy Metal was based on the magazine of the same name full of stories and comics. This and Wizards was the most graphic cartoon I ever seen, then I discovered anime.

And yes, I too loved the intro to Elfen Lied when I first heard it back in 2005 when I bought it on DVD. But that first episode was brutal! I felt so sorry for that secretary, she didn’t deserve what Lucy did to her!
