I mainly get mine from

https://www.amiami.com/eng/

&

But depending on the price I’ll get an occasional nendoroid or figure from Amazon or ebay. I’ve also been known to buy figures off individuals from the 4chan /toy/ board on their buy/sell/trade threads, though very rarely.

I also get my fair share of figures from subscription boxes like The Otaku Box and Nihon Box.

Ocassionally I’ll get lucky and find a figure I want in the wild at a store or win one at round1 arcade. though this is rare.

Mostly from cons and TOB for me. There’s also one site I often check, but a good number of figures from there have explicit variants, so probably best not to post it here.

I’m a huge fan of the following in order
Solaris Japan
Amiami
Otaku
Tokyo otaku mode.

Solaris Japan is my favorite. Most of my figures are from them. We’ll shoot’s to be honest damn near all of them. There not too expensive but shipping and handeling get you. But that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to take.

Are the ones from Temu any good?

Yes, and I’ve notice quite a few are from the actual companies that are making them with the prices slightly lower then on other sites,

I usually use TOM, Solaris, the 'Zon, and eBay.

I check customer reviews carefully on 'Zon and eBay befor buying.

I’d love to use Amiami, but it’s based in China and my bank pitches fits due to that and I have to jump through hoops to force payments through.

Amiami

AmiAmi is based out of Tokyo, I order from them all the time and the packages ship from Tokyo and they have a storefront you can see on google maps.

My bank says otherwise.

Well, for payment anyway. Maybe they bank out of China?

I don’t have a clue as I don’t have the problem with China payments that your bank has a fit over for some reason. I always use paypal as well for payment so I haven’t a clue.

Maybe their financial institutions run through China, I’m not sure.

I just know they ship out of Japan and have a storefront in Tokyo.

I ain’t got nothin’. Well, Barnes & Noble and their inflated prices in the book store.

Our one and only comic book/manga store in town was a victim of the 'rona shutdown farce.
