It’s a cartoon made for a western audience. People only refer to it as anime because of the art style which was imitating anime because anime was starting to gain popularity for the mainstream audience in the west and they wanted to cash in on it’s popularity, plus the show had an overarching storyline that isn’t episodic in nature which is rare for western animated shows.
Don’t get me wrong, Avatar the Last Airbender was phenomenal and is definitly worth the watch!
However the truth of the matter is was made for nick to be broadcast to American audiences first and formost.
Ben 10 (the original series) has the same problem on Cartoon Network, but a bit less refined then Avatar was though still a fun watch.
Not going anywhere today, thankfully I’m off work today and have no where I need to go. This is just the beginning, it’s supposed to snow all day and we are supposed to get anywhere from 4 to 10 inches of snow.
