Waifu is any female character you’re interested in, would pursue a relationship/“bow chica bow wow” with if they were real or other.

Husbando is the same but a male character.

For example, everywhere here and my wife knows mine is Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy 7 (I played the OG and fell in love with her then - 1997).
