Is Light Novel the same as Manga? genuine question since I don’t know much about it

Typically mangas are a more laid back experience on the light novels. Same storyline (mostly), just a bit of more enjoyable experience to read preferably. That’s how I typically look at it but they are closely similar.

Ehh you could interpret that. Just look at it this way.
A. Mangas are like the wests version of a comic book, with cut outs per each section with more emphasis on the artwork and character design. It really wants to emerge you into the story with each block of the panel and with its sequential artwork. I personally enjoy manga more than LNs.
B. Light novels focus more on the story rather than the design of the characters. There’s obviously some designs in each light novel, as that’s how we see the characters for the first time. Light novels are called “light”, because it’s more of an easier read that focuses more on the plot and story development while still incorporating some artwork that is usually more heavily focused on per each piece in the book. Think of a LN as more of a small book with a few nice visual details every now and then.
It usually goes in this sequence for a lot of anime’s that you actually watch (at least the last time I checked). Light Novel → Manga adaptation → Animated series.

Noo, it was a serious question since we already have a Manga Thread and when the creator said we needed to have a Light Novel one, gave me curiosity to know the difference between them

It’s got pictures, but it’s a super rare find. The physical copies of it anyway. Its also a disappointing read. It only has three volumes and the last one ends on a cliffhanger that has yet to be resolved.
