Started painting on my final girl miniatures to find most of the capsule paints are dried out. So another project to go on pause for a bit while I catch up.
At least I can stil play the game because I still have the original wooden parts, the minis are just extras like the play mats and storage boxes.

How hard is it to be a DM( I’ve played two games of DnD)[I do have more experience with a similar game(Heroscape)].
Is there any particular DnD book to use?

The player’s handbook is one. You’ll need the Dungeon Master’s guide, and at least one monster manual. Read all of them cover to cover. Always remember it’s the spirit of the game, not the letter of the rules when you play.
DMing can be a challenge. You are god of that world.

I sold the final girl at auction, listed it at cost, like the d&d miniatures, I didn’t get any compensation for the time painting anything

Not any more. It’s not worth the time if it doesn’t get me paid. Selling stuff on eBay so I can get a riding lawnmower. With a rider I can do more neighbors lawns without making my hip worse.

$100 and comes with a 42" deck and a plow. Just need a battery, belt, spring and a couple inner tubes for the front tires. I hooked it up to my truck with jumper cables and it fired right up. People trying to sell a same size and age John Deere with no attachments for $350 is ridiculous. They have the exact same Briggs & Stratton motor. John Deere doesn’t cut the grass any better than a Troy Bilt, Simplicity, Cub Cadet or any other lawn tractor with a 42" deck

Hell, I have been busy, I got it to work, I mowed 4 lawns with it. Have my name and number in the mail rooms with a special note of senior discounts since I understand the struggle for a limited fixed income.
A neighbor gave me this because he is a Republican and learned what it stood for. It is a welcome mat to all who yern to be free.
I need toake her a new crown, fill the cracks and give her a better paint job, amd het screws and a rubber seal for the globe. I already rewired her with an old 50’ orange outdoor extension cord. Tomorrow I am going work out setting her up in the ferns by the patio table.

Same I have a buddy that is a good DnD dungeon master but we have no one to play with. We use to get on comms and play online as they have systems setup for it.
