My wife is taking me to a matinee of SAW X. Im also gonna carve up my pumpkin and pass out candy tonight.

I live down the end of a dirt road and by times past, no one ever makes it to my house. So I’m turning out the light and playing possum.

Nope. Just work the day off then eat jelly beans when I get home.
We don’t really celebrate holidays anymore, too much of a hassle nowadays.

Every year I think we’ll get lots of trick-or-treaters and disappointingly, kids stop coming over by 7pm. Too much leftover candy. This year I think I may leave out a bowl and let them take as much as they want.

It’s 40°F here in CT, and the kids were sick before and they starting to recuperate, so I canceled the outing, but we’re gonna do some movie night with popcorn and some pizza at home🥹

Not too far away from Wethersfield. I used to go rock collecting at the Rt 72 road cut in New Britain. Got some beautiful calcite crystals from that area.

was originally planning on going to the local casino in town (not the one I work at) to drink at the bar with friends, but plans changed as everyone we was gonna hang with has to work in the morning or couldn’t get off work tonight.
Tuesdays are my normal days off anyway so this is the first Halloween I’ve had off in a few years. Just gonna stay home and drink a few with my roommate and play card/dice games and if I get any trick-or-treaters (very very rare anymore) I do have candy to hand out.

Halloween is my favorite holiday of all time, sadly, I have no plans as I had to work today and tomorrow. So, I’ll be spending it playing video games with m,y husband and his friends.

Happy Halloween, had a small party, will probably watch some scary movies, while seeing if trick or treaters show up.

Trick-or-Treaters have slowed down over the years, especially after parents and church groups started advocating for Trunk-or-Treat instead in school or church parking lots.
I didn’t get a single one this year and I decorated and everything! More candy for me I guess. The old traditions are dying off in the modern era.
