Cast as Rikichi in 2005’s Samurai 7, Tatum’s inexplicable luck has held long enough to see his flag hoisted on a slew of dream roles, most notably Kyoya Otori in Ouran High School Host Club, suave, demonic Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler, Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss, and Okarin Rintarou from Steins;Gate.

More recently, Tatum can be heard in the epic My Hero Academia as Teyna Iida, Louis in Fire Emblem: Engage, Moran in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Cid in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth.

Actor Colin Ryan can be seen in Amazon’s show Boundless, playing series regular Enrique. A wonderful voice artist, Colin plays the role of Yurick in The Last Story and is well known for voicing the role of Alphinaud in the Final Fantasy XIV gaming franchise which won a BAFTA in the Evolving Game category this 2023.

As well as his roles in Death in Paradise, Doctor Who and Leonardo, Colin holds extensive theatre credits including My Brilliant Friend at the National Theatre in London, After Edwards, and a number of productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company such as Volpone, Wendy and Peter Pan, Snow in the Midsummer, and The Jew of Malta.

Ben Starr

Ben Starr can be recently seen in London Kills, he can be more notably seen in Jamestown where he plays the role of Dr Christopher Priestley and film 7 Miracles in which he starred as Judas. His other current screen credits include Apple series Trying, ITV’s mini series You & Me as well as the most recent season of Netflix’s You.

As a voice artist, Ben has been credited on a number of video games such as A Way Out, Quantum Break and Arknights where he voiced the role of Sharp. He now stars in the latest Final Fantasy XVI game as the lead protagonist, Clive Rosfield, who embarks to seek revenge after his kingdom is destroyed. Final Fantasy XVI has been one of the most anticipated releases this 2023 having been nominated in this category for the 2022 Game Awards and for PlayStation’s Game of the Year in the 2023 Golden JoyStick Awards.

After debuting in 2003, FLOW has an established reputation for hit anime works, including themes for anime “NARUTO” (GO!!!, many others), opening themes for “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion”, (COLORS, WORLD END), and the opening theme for ”Tales of Zestiria the Cross” (Kaze no Uta). In her spare time, she enjoys making desserts, crafting accessories, and hairstyling.

The original novel was adapted into a TV anime in January 2024. Her other notable works include Setsuna Graffiti, and NO.6 (original work by Atsuko Asano).

The largest anime festival in dallas, A-kon, has been cancelled this year. Repeated venue problems and poor managemnt have been plagueing this con for years now. 2020-2021 covid crap started really putting nails in its coffin. Which is sad becasue this is one of the longest running cons.

As much as I love Final Fantasy (I’ve been playing since FF2/4 [US/JPN]), meeting voice actors doesn’t do anything for me.

They have an absolutely huge exhibit hall dedicated to the console and arcade games. Of course there’s panels, plenty of vendors and artists. Concerts as well. And many of us go to enjoy the craftsmanship in the cosplays.

Well if I’m in town I’ll most likely will go over on Saturday, back in the day if I wasn’t on tour I used work Otakon, Baltimore screwed up when they let Otakon leave.

And Otakon has just announced Yumi Kakazu.

She does have a variety of other roles, but looks like we get to add our first Japanese autographs to the Keyblade and the Advent Children box, as she has been a consistent voice for Yuffie.
