I had to take a break from painting for a bit. I decided to start over on one of my HB prints to practice air brushing. Kinda went with a Red Goddess color scheme

Works great for a more natural grip than wrapping the hand around the cold can and the wider base makes it harder to knock over.

Haven’t done Bikini Bowsette for a bit. Now that I know a little more of what I’m doing.
Tried to minimize supports, obviously need a little more. I’m also working on Variable Infill so the base is more solid and doesn’t crunch when I try to get it off the plate.

Found a piece of support that had broken off jammed in the riser gears. Part of what kept my printer from running I think. And my files on the thumb-drive got corrupted. Going to have to resplice everything and reload on the drive–if the drive is still good. Have not tried to format and checkdisk it yet. I think I had the pieces at 85% to fit on my print plate. Will try a test print this weekend (hopefully) and see if I can get running again.
What I did last night after work.
I think with my profit share bonus from work this year I’m gonna get a 2nd printer so when 1 goes FUBAR I can keep running on the 2nd.

Five attempts and the lavender chocobos kept on failing. The filament would stop feeding with 3-5 hours to go. Got a different purple and I think I like this one better.

I even told Kari Wahlgren that she should have Red since she had so much more work in Ivalice. She said the Silver fits in her office better. (Yeah, already stated in the AnimeInk thread…)

Had to switch filaments to finally get a purple that would work. I think it’s better than the lavender anyway.
