I actually own Watamote on Blu Ray (yes I am still big on collecting physical media). Loved the series, and it was funny, but there are some parts that were a bit hard to watch as to how cringe they made you feel for Tomoko. I never read the manga though and I heard she eventually gives up on guys and goes full lesbian, just what I heard anyway.
Tomoko is super cringe. Seeing someone that socially awkward is tough. But her attempts at being “normal” are funny. Just watching her trying to order at “Wacdonalds” was laughable in it’s cringe.
She does sexually harass a few girls but I don’t think it goes full yuri. It’s more that’s all she is capable of doing.
I don’t know if they count but I would say pop team epic, way of the househusband and crayon shin chan.
the way of the househusband is amazing
It makes me laugh every time and the live action they did of it is even better.
I laughed alot with Food Wars and Jojo Stardust Crusaders, such endearing characters in such crazy situations.
Oh sheet, I totally forgot about that show! it was hilarious, though short! To bad we will never get anymore episodes from the series. (I heard the manga went a more “adult” direction after the part where the anime left off, but that is just hearsay as I never checked myself)
Shomin Sample was pretty funny.
Welcome tot he Community @Mutil8u , Also I’ve never seen Shomin Sample.
Excel Saga is hilarious as it’s an anime that is off the wall insane! Makes fun of anime tropes, even tried to kill it’s own manga creator! Btw Excel, the main character, is the bad guy as she works for an organization that wants to take over the world!
The anime is older so it has a very early 2000’s feel.
Its worth a watch plus its on Funimation.
Well I unsubbed to Funimation early last year when sony bought out Crunchyroll, as they were not adding anything new and I heard Sony was gonna merge the two apps anyway.
hahah this fits so well. haha. awesome song, dang really takes you back into time…NU Metal…ahhh i miss it. thanks for setting up todays music line up
@Mutil8u welcome to the community
Yeah man I have the same feeling. The song and editing make this a timeless classic.
