I don’t think Liz is up to just giving boxes away for free, she may surprise us, but I doubt it. If she gave away one box she would have others asking as well. Times are hard for everyone in this economy as many people are struggling as well. Can’t hurt to ask I guess.
My best advice is work on the things that matter most first (family) and subscribe when you have more disposable income to subscribe to the box. The cheapest Otaku Box option is $29.95 a month +shipping (Grand total for me in my area is $36.94) but this is without the 1:9th scale figure upgrade and the T-shirt add-on.
