I can tolerate fried chicken as long as it is drained properly. But deep fried pork or french fries are gross. I’d rather bake/air fry them

I really hate the oily texture. The only time I could tolerate oil is if you put it on starchy carbs like pasta or rice. But eating it as it is? No, thanks.

I was debating if I should post this here, as I was holding off until it got resolved, and it did get resolved quickly without issue, but still it was strange that it happened. I’ll post it anyway as this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with this company as of late.
Last Friday (12-09-2024) I got an email from e2046 that my Lina Inverse Figure I had pre-ordered was finished and ready to be shipped off, and that postage payment was required at this time. This isn’t unusual as that is just how the company works, as you can pre-order a figure and even pay for it in partial with the pre-order or pay for it in full, then when the figure is ready to ship (These are custom Garage Kit figures so they take a very long time to complete, as I waited over a year for this one) They usually then contact you once again for either the rest of the payment if paid for in partial and for the postage due for shippment depending on your shippment type you choose (I use airmail).
Anyway there was the invoice I was given.
They billed me for $107.16 which was a sticker shock for one, and two that was way to expensive. I had already paid for the figure in full when I pre-ordered at the $159.02 price they were asking for at the time. Shipping is only $32.88 via airmail, and of course the $2 Registration Fee which they charge for every time you buy from them.
So the most I should have Owed was $34.88, so where did they get the $107.16 from? That is a difference of $72.28 in price??
I responded to them asking about it, but since it was Friday I wasn’t expecting a response until Monday at the earliest.
I even checked the product listing on the page, and seen the product itself had increased in price, but even at the most expensive original price of $227.99, it still didn’t add up to the $72.28 difference according to my math.
Anyway, like expected I got a response this morning from e2046, and they admitted to the mistake and fixed the price so I only owed the shipping price of $34.88.
Thus I paid for the shipping and the incident resolved itself painlessly. Though I will be keeping an very close eye on all the invoices from this company going forward, as I still have two figures on pre-order from them paid in full, Beesties Rachnera he paid me to get for him and a Papi figure.
I don’t think I’ll be doing much more business with this company going forward, tbh. I may order Meroune pre-painted when it’s available but that’s the last one as they have no more Monster Musume figures on their site that I haven’t bought yet.

One of my cats broke the stand on my new TOB calendar. I have to see if I can fix it.

That sucks, what is the stand made of? If it’s transparent acrylic that’d be very noticeable, even if glued.

It is acrylic. The part that broke is the lip that holds the calendar page upright. It snapped in half, however, it didn’t completely separate. It’s more or less bent in the middle. I can put a calendar page on it but I have to shift it to the left to get it to stay vertical. Gonna use some clear Gorilla glue to mend.

I’m about to end a toxic relationship which has been causing my anxiety for a while. I’m surprised we lasted for three years. I lost the love. No more yearning or excitement to see that person anymore. All I could feel right now was anguish and frustration, and I want exit.
