That is still 6 to 7 months away. Where they left off in the anime is akin to like Dragon Ball Z ending the Namek Saga right when Goku achieved SSJ for the first time.
I wonder if the creators of DanDaDan were already greenlite for a second season from the get go, or if this is gonna be a trend for each season? 6 to 7 months from now my interest could wane from the series, or through my abesent mindedness could forget what was going on completely.
The goal of a perfect anime is to leave the viewer satisfied while yerning for more, hoping for another season. Ending a season on a cliffhanger like it’s just another episode is reckless as I’ve seen many shows in the past do that then end up canceled, which in turn tarnishs what would have been a good series. This happens more often in western media then anime.
The series DanDaDan would have been better off ending the first season on episode 10 “Have You Ever Seen a Cattle Mutilation?” Instead as that episode wrapped up what was happening currently fairly well, but nope they added two more episodes setting up the new arc and leaving on a cliffhanger episode.
As much as I liked the show, doing that left a sour feeling for the show overall. I just hope it’s not a trend for this series.

They gotta replace that English voice actor lol Idk man I mean Ive waited this long for seasons I can wait longer at this point we are the faces of how to wait for seasons of your favorite anime. As for the 6-7 months crazy thing is the X weirdo’s were complaining thats to soon

Yeah, i hate waiting on seasons but I have grown accustomed to it as it’s Inevitable.
What I hate worse then that is cliffhangers as those turn me off from a show.

Watched The Boy And The Heron with my son this week.
I like how there are high profile voices, but didn’t care for the story. When dealing with Death (The kid’s looking for his deceased mother in another world), usually there’s a metaphor or a callback for one’s trials and actions. Even after the scene has taken place. Did not see any explanations for those. Nice art, but I recommend a Pass for others.
