Yep it made me brave the storm to go get some but I got some!
To the victor, go the spoils. And that would be crunch-berries. Bravo!
I love a good meatloaf.
I grabbed a pizza on the way home.
@Hestia25 I would like to add a new favorite
Since i was out all day in Wichita KS, we ate at Firehouse Subs for lunch. My first time eating there and i loved it! Blows Subway out of the water.
After the Rob Schneider show we went to we stopped at IHOP for dinner. I got the fish & shrimp platter with fries.
Well yeah Subway sucks massively, Two times I got food poisoning
Taco Bell is what got me with food poisoning.
LOVE Firehouse subs, but it’s way on the other side of town. Adds 20 minutes to my commute.
Closest one to me is in Derby KS, at least a hour and a half drive. All i got in the town i live in is Subway.
Ufff that cheese rice
Now that’s not a combination I ever thought of. Basa with apples? That a family recipe or a regional one? Or were you just winging it?
My wife was cleaning out the fridge and this was a last minute dinner idea. We were out of sauerkraut, red delicious apples and roasted red potatoes which is what she normally uses when she cooks up kielbasa. So she improvised with the golden apples and it worked so well. I believe the cheesy rice was a Rice or Roni concoction.
Red delicious . . . so you do cook basa with apples. Hmm… Might have to try.
I asked my wife about the recipe and she said to:
Saute the apples in 3 Tablespoons of butter. Halfway through cooking top it off with 1/8 cup of sugar.
And then add the basa? Or cook that separately?
She said to cook the kielbasa separately.
