This is the opposite of another topic in the forum. What are games (or game) that you enjoyed but everyone else hates it or doesn’t get it?
For me it would be the absolute classic PSX game Evil Zone (Or Eretzvaju in Japan). This game had some impressive graphics for its time, memorable character design, an awesome OST, an innovative Story Mode and a huge amount of lore packed in its gallery mode.
Unfortunately, this game tried to innovate gameplay by creating a 2 button style fighting game, that was confusing for pretty much any fighting game fan and few people would be willing to learn it.
Attaching the Japanese intro with the song “Kiss in the dark”.
I played this game called baten katos on gamecube years ago that no1 really seems to know about lol, was a fun jrpg deck building mash up worked well in my opinion too was fun had a pretty good story aswell
I have to say that my pic would be PlayStation all-stars battle royale. Basically PlayStation‘s attempt to dethrone Nintendo‘s smash Bros unpopular opinion I think if PlayStation did it right, and had more accessible characters and levels that it could have rivals Nintendo unfortunately, they had a very small character selection And did not promote it well it was a solid game but just didn’t have enough momentum to push it farther enough. I really think they need to do a second one and expand on it and push it this time.
Ya allstars was pretty good, but really hard to try n take on smash bros, they’ve had a lot of time to iron all the kinks out, and their roster is just huge lol probly my fav fighting type game, oh n isnt there a nickelodeon one now,and that WB multi verse one lol
@Jmx32@Chedda77 I completely agree. Popular IPs plus Simple gameplay that everyone can play makes for a very successful game. Now it’s probably the best time to do so.
Can’t say everyone hates this game, but almost non of my surroundings like it. I’m talking about Spelunky (1, 2). I just love them, so many hours spent…
WOW Supaplex!! My mom had a copy on a hard diskette that we used to play on her old computer. I kind of miss playing it, but I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to remember this game!
Yeah, the amount of laugh it generates is hilarious. Also, the game taught me to value the experience, and not to get mad losing something, it helped me later to play games like Elden Ring
I can see it, Really helps you get that unbridled rage under control lol I turned a bunch of me and my friends moments into sound bits that ended up on a soundboard
I remember playin this games called shinning force or sumthin for sega i think it was, was really fun from what i remeber. And vividly remember being very upset when one of the main party died lol
I’m not sure if this counts but Mass effect Andromeda i enjoy it but apparently the greater mass effect community didn’t. But still can’t wait for the next mass effect game to see what they did.
