I got an email that someone wants to give me $2 mil. It sounds legit  (sarcasm)

Yippy. Fixing to have a good ol’ fashioned West Texas rainstorm (blowing dirt). On the bright side, single-digit lows for the start of the week have raised some.

Today is the last warm day in my forecast, I’m not looking forward to the rest of the week, down to the single digits.

At least you have a nice, warm beanie to wear.

It’s Friday!

Pack given walkies and pets.

Cookies tossed at greedy mouths.

Boots off. Flipflops on.

Work clothes off. Jammie bottoms on.

Tall sweet tea with lemon and lotsa ice poured.

Classic rock blaring in all rooms of the house (currently CCR “Fortunate Son”).

Time to get creative!

While it’s not quite as cold in my neck of the woods, I already have snow piled on my car. Can’t say that often here in Texas.

Snow flurries down here. Somebody freaked out. Ton of emergency vehicles headed east on Interstate 20.

Meanwhile, in the bright start of another spring semester. Luckily, no snow yet or we’re going to have ice roads.

Dunno. Can’t find a thing about it on the local news.

It snowed yesterday while I was at work and the temperature dropped hard later. I felt like I was about to get frost bite just cleaning off my car and scrapping the ice off my windshield so I could go home when I got off at 6pm yesterday. Took an hour to drive home due to how bad the roads got. Good thing I’m off work today and tomorrow, where I can stay home and stay warm.

Must be nice. We get one 50 degree day and then back into back into the 40’s.

Here in Georgia, our governor has issued a state of emergency. Schools are closed. Bus and train transits are closed until further notice. Interstate roads are sheets of ice. They want people to stay off the roads. People don’t drive well during normal conditions so this storm is causing havoc. The local media is in a full blown panic. Temperatures overnight around 12 degrees. I’m glad I am safe indoors.
