I’m sorry, but I really don’t know where to put this and I have questions.
I just recently purchased the Uncensored Box and it was an extra 30 bucks. Made me believe it was going to be a whole other box and even a figure… I just recently got my first box and it had an uncensored tiny wall scroll and a Uncensored Xenovia card. Like, is that all the extra 30 bucks was for? Or is there actually another box on the way?
That does not seem right. Please contact Liz at support@theotakubox.com. If it’s the first box, you should receive a free figure and an uncensored wall scroll.
If it was your first box, there should have been a free figure with it as well for the first box, after that unless you chose the scale figure add-on then there will not be any more figures in the box unless there is a mini-figure added randomly in the future.
The scale figure in every box would be a $19.99 add-on (extra), same with the T-shirt which would be a $16.99 add-on (extra).
If you opted out of both, the box would only be $30 plus shipping which will net you a metal card, a waifu card, a wall scroll/ wall art, and 3 random items in the box in every box.
I don’t know why anyone would subscribe without at least the scale figure option, but some people do.
Like Tamkama said, if this really is your first box, you should have at least gotten a free scale figure for signing up (A choice between Fishnet Stockings Albedo, Maid Rias, and Maid Akeno currently advertised). But if you didn’t get the free sign up figure contact the support email Tamkama posted.

So I did get the Xenovia figure I wanted, and the Albedo Fishnet figure. My assumption by selecting “Uncensored Box” and the fact that it was an extra 30 bucks, was that the figure would actually be uncensored. My sub price in total is 75 bucks. So something just doesn’t seem to add up to me.
Everyone gets the same figure, if they purchase the add-on. All the uncensored option is for is whether the wall scroll and waifu card has nudity or not, and uncensored does not apply to the figure.
Well unfortunately that is not worth an extra 30 bucks, then. Kinda misleading. Not trying to make a stink. Just not really satisfied with what an extra 30 bucks means here.
Listen, I don’t work for The Otaku Box, most everyone here on the forum including us mods are subscribers just like you. I don’t know the exact details of your issue or concern or what you chose when you signed up, I’m just passing on what knowledge I do know. If your having issues, just contact support@theotakubox.com like Tamkama stated for you to do to resolve anything with the business side of The Otaku Box.
Appreciate the info. I’m merely just saying that in the 5 minutes of our conversation you’ve given me more info than the sign up window gave me and gave significantly clearer expectations as to what my extra 30 bucks was actually purchasing. But I’ll contact support. Thank you.
