Magic is the grand daddy of them all. I have had and sold many collections of MTG over the years. Majority of the cards my mom and Mike had I sent to them when I was working at a card shop as a sorter getting paid in those huge 5 row boxes. I sorted those out and sent them at least 4 copies per card out of the 8 huge boxes I had. Also a couple old 3 ring binders from Unlimited and Ice Age, the huge MTG Vanguard cards I sent down there. Now that covid is over I can go to Chimera to play FNM.

While that is true, Yugioh has you reading paragraphs to understand cards lol This is also why the meme of Yugioh players can’t read started lol I am to deep to stop at this point but I make sure to warn people ahead of time as a vet

I think magic has easier effects to understand, Yugioh effects are on par with hey remove a card then do a back flip to the moon then end your turn

You may be surprised in the crazy stuff in MTG. Removing all copies of a card from game including dead and not even drawn. Some of the new mechanics are crazy with cards flipping between day and night. The newer sets are almost impossible to play as table top because there is so much going on, arena does make it smoother. Every booster pack you buy in the real world gives you a code to get a booster pack in the digital world which is nice.

Yeah, the game has completely changed since last played it, I stopped playing the game around 2008 or 2009. Even then it was getting to complex to enjoy. Yu-Gi-Oh! used to be a fun back and forth strategy card game with simple rules, but now it’s all about winning the game on your first turn.
