Digimon, But I like a few pokemon stand alone from the anime But yea its digimon for me the over all story granted old school was nuts but a favorite none the less. The designs of the digi’s were just way better

Pokémon because while I could never get into the video games, and the card game seemed like a kids game to me back when it came out, I did like the first two seasons of the anime as I used to watch it when it aired in the very early morning before i headed to work. Nothing else of interest was on the TV at 5 in the morning at that time, so Pokémon it was.
Digimon just felt like a edgy knock-off of Pokémon to me and I never had interest in it.

I certainly like both, and I feel you. I watched Pokemon all the time when it first came out. I watched the first few seasons before I lost track of it. However, I would say I do prefer Digimon. The artwork, the character designs, the storylines it was all, in my opinion, better. Though, as I said, I like both. I’m just curious as to why people chose one over the other. Pokemon is a very long series focused on one character. Digimon is several shorter series tied together, but each one telling it’s own story. I wouldn’t say there is a right or wrong answer, and I do understand where you are coming from. It wasn’t until I got into college that I really enjoyed Digimon more.

I only watched the first two seasons of Pokémon anyway, then the channel repeated the series over again, so i looked for something else to watch before heading to work.

While i do enjoy both, ive seen every digimon tv series and movie and still collect the tamogotchi too, the pokemon games i play but are getting a bit to repetitive.

Pokemon was a fun game of memory (remembering all the names) but my fav is Digimon.

It’s Pokemon for me because as a kid I was super confused about Digimon evolutions. Pokemon seems to be simply a more friendly world to watch over
