Were they decently upgraded? Things like weapon upgrades and talent levels can make quite a difference.
It’s a quite an easy game when it comes to fighting… you must have missed something.
…Something tells me I’m gonna need to see this. This doesn’t add up to me.
Basically, Genshin has some limitations for non-five-star characters aka “legendaries”, I can say it after playing Genshin for 2+ years. Given the same artifacts, the outcoming damage of some 5* and 4* characters is like heaven and hell. However, there are three points I have to voice:
- There are some free-to-play characters that can easily catch up to some 5* character’s damage, like Chongyun, Heizou, Razor
- The elemental reaction damage is the same for both 4* and 5* characters because only character level (besides EM) sets the damage multiplier. Using elemental reactions is the “to-go” variant to pass anything even with the starter team. One of my favorite characters is Liza, but many hate her because she is weak. I can’t agree with it as I get through the 12-1, 12-2, and 12-3 of the abyss 9 stars with her elemental reaction build. Well, I did it even with the traveler once, so elemental reactions are OP.
- It is pretty easy to get one or two legendaries just by going through the quests and opening chests. At the start of the game, there is a just a ton of ways to get primos.
So I believe it just needs some digging and experimenting. Actually, maybe someone doesn’t find this interesting, but for me, it is exactly the part of why I love this game
I plsyayed it for a min or too …it has the same foot print as so many games like that…i gt boring real quick…amd i dont “PAY FOR PLAY” im way to pretty for that noise…
Often I catch myself thinking that I should have made a female character and not a male one. If I replayed the game, I would definitely choose a female, haha. Good luck there! There’s a lot of great content out there right now
Well im playin a game that i added to my discord channel…its called epic rpg…old svhool comands like /trun right /enventory. /use ax on companion /eat con… well you get the pitcture
They hav a dd…and yes thats dungeon and dragons …lol
And thats were i fo my AI art
I use Liza all the time. My favorite Genshin waifu. I do have Mona (5*) and Albedo(5*) so it’s a killer combination due to elemental combos.
For example Liza Elemental Burst + Mona is a complete killer as Liza’s Burst last for such a long time.
I do have few more 5 starts… but I don’t use them as I have no need for it.
I use Qiqi for healing and that extra skill she has for finding rear plants…
Best thing about genshin is that you don’t have to pay anything to advance.
That’s really nice! I remember trying to play with a controller. That’s pure chill. It’s a pity I don’t have a tv tho
Mona is indeed an OP support, but she is my worst nightmare haha. Because I got her 8 times already, that means she is C6 and each time I lose the 50/50 for her I get frustrated, because there is no real reward for duplicates after the 7th one.
And yeah, the game rewards players that explore 100%. However, I find the Welkin Moon a must-have for players that play every day. I mean, it is cheap and grants the most of the primos I spend in the game
I like 100% exploration… like I have to find everything… lol… not sure why, but I just have to… I haven’t played for 6 month as I’ve been busy with house stuff… I hope I’ll be able to find time again for it…
@JoJotheThird pretty cool tips. I hate pay 2 win, but if this gives you an alternative I could look into it, it looks like it has pretty solid gameplay and mechanics.
Should i bother makeing anything or using exp material and the like, in early stages or should i jus bank it for later use n jus find stuff around the world for now?, and i take it the food stuffs are similar to zelda botw
If you upgrade some low level weapon/item, you can always use it (with all investment) for a better weapon.
Yeah indeed, I have lots of friends playing and giving it $0, but enjoying the content. The main source of primos is the daily quests and events that occur every month
If we are talking about characters, then I recommend investing in them as much as possible xp. The talent books are questionable tho (use them on the characters you definitely will use). The thing is that each character comes in handy from time to time. I have most of my ~40 characters 90lvl (max), and each of them at least 80lvl (almost max), and never got disappointed in these investments.
The food thing indeed is like in Zelda. The only thing is that some food requires special materials that are needed for character ascension, like Small Lamp Grass, and ignoring collecting those may lead to some frustrating times gathering it intentionally haha
Ok cool, thank you sir
I’m reviving this thread to say I promised myself no more mobile games but I’m addicted to another escape room series…
